Mud glorious mud!

Image
Its all beginning to get a bit muddy!   The front garden has been cleared in preparation for a new driveway and the greenhouses have been removed.  The skip is nearly full!  The boys enjoyed climbing the mound of mud and planting their own forest!!  The cox apple trees have been pruned and fallen apples are being enjoyed by a noisy flock of fieldfares.  The front garden  The forest mound!  View across the cox apple trees Flock of fieldfares

New gateway

What a difference a new gateway makes! We can now pull off the road before opening the gate.  The wall between the house and drive has also been demolished ready for a new access to the house. The dividing fence between Meadow Lodge Farm and Heath Fruit Farm has also been constructed. Just as I was leaving the farm today I saw a beautiful kestrel perched on the new gate,  but sadly flew off before I could get a photo.
